About us
One measurement model for the digital development of cities
The Digital City Monitor was developed by Yorizon BV, a Dutch research agency with more than fifteen years of experience in employee experience and experience research. This research experience, together with knowledge from municipal practice, has been brought together in one standardised measurement model for the experienced digital maturity of cities.
The monitor brings five parts together: the digital work environment, information and secure digital working, digital change, digital innovation and digital service delivery to residents and businesses. This creates one integral picture of what helps employees in their daily work, where they experience obstacles and which improvements deserve priority.
The monitor is intended for Dutch cities of every size, from small municipalities to large cities. It is used by city secretaries, CIOs, directors of business operations, information managers and policy officers responsible for digitalisation and service delivery. The results are useful for the executive board, management and the teams working on digital change.
Within our group, specialised companies have expertise that matches these topics. They can additionally support cities with consultancy, interim management, recruitment and in-depth or custom research.
This is why the Digital City Monitor goes beyond measurement alone. The monitor makes improvement opportunities visible and offers a well-founded starting point for deploying fitting expertise.
The Digital City Monitor brings these topics together in one compact and standardised measurement model for cities.
